Adilabad: The two-day nature camp and bird watching event at Thurkam Cheruvu concluded on Sunday in the Mamada mandal of Nirmal district. Nature enthusiasts and bird watchers explored the region's rich biodiversity and enjoyed the wilderness throughout the event.
As part of the activities, the forest department organised trekking and safari tours within the core area of Kawal Tiger Reserve. Key attendees included PCCF and chief wildlife warden Elusing Meru, Nirmal collector Abhilasha Abhinav, and Basar circle CCF C. Sarvanan.
Representatives from NGOs involved in tiger conservation also took part in the event. Participants included bird watchers and nature lovers from various locations, including Hyderabad, who joined to experience and appreciate the region’s natural heritage.
