Two held for committing burglary in Mirchowk

CCTVs help police detect burglary

Hyderabad: The city police on Monday arrested two persons on charges of committing a burglary at a businessman’s house at Kali Khabar in Mirchowk police station limits four days ago.

A mobile phone, gold and silver ornaments and a bike, all worth over Rs.2.60 lakh were recovered from the possession of the arrested persons identified as Mohammad Noor Hassan, 33, a photo frame worker and resident of Nor Khan Bazaar and Himayath Hussain Ansari, 23, of Dabeerpura.

Michowk Assistant Commissioner of Police NSSV Venkateshwar Rao said a complainant was received from the businessman Mohd Imran stating that the iron locker was missing from his room and a gold necklace, one pair of ear rings and two rings all weighing 30 grams and cash, five passports, three RC books of bikes and a watch were stolen.

Imran checked nearby cameras and found that two unknown persons entered his house opening the main door latch and fled with the gold and silver ornaments along with cash. Based on the complaint, the police booked a case and arrested the two persons near Komatwadi in Dabeerpura.
