In one case, two techies suffered injuries after their vehicle rammed into a parked lorry early on Wednesday, near Neopolis. N. Vijay Kumar, 27, was at the wheel and was accompanied by a female passenger. Locals called the police and an ambulance and the injured were sent to a hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
In another incident in Kokapet, two persons in a car were injured when their vehicle hit a pillar with an advertisement hoarding. Police said the occupants, Karthik and Abhishek Reddy, were saved by the timely deployment of airbags.
The duo abandoned the car and escaped from the spot. The car was speeding and its front part was extensively damaged, police said.
Two separate cases are registered with Narsingi police and launched a probe. A teams is also analysing the CCTV cameras to spot the missing accused.
