Hyderabad: Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations have begun in the Telugu states with a grand start. Devotees have thronged many Vaishnavism temples since Thursday night. After the temples were opened and special pujas were performed, devotees were given darshan through the northern gate. It is believed that visiting Lord Vishnu on this day helps one attain Vaikuntha. As a result, lakhs of devotees have gathered in Vaishnavism temples on this auspicious day. After performing Kainkaryam and Abhishekam privately, devotees were given darshan from 4:30 pm.
In Bhadrachalam, devotees were given the opportunity to have darshan of Lord Sita Ramachandra Swamy at exactly 5 am. Devotees gathered in large numbers to engage in the service of the Lord. In Yadagirigutta, devotees lined up for darshan of the Lord, who will be seen in the form of Vasudeva on the Garuda vehicle from the Uttara Dwara. Today, Garuda Sevotsavam and Thiruveedhi Seva will be held for the Lord. Devotees also flocked to the Dharmapuri Narasimha Swamy temple.
