Vijaya Dairy expresses readiness to supply quality ghee and other products to TTD
Hyderabad: Amid controversy over animal fat in ghee supplied for making Tirupati laddus, Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited (TGSDDCF) offered to supply quality dairy products in sufficient quantities for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
A letter to this effect was written to TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao by Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department Principal Secretary, Sabyasachi Ghosh here on Saturday. He said Vijaya Dairy was well-known across the country for its milk and dairy products.
TGSDDCF has a history of supplying valuable and quality products to consumers and supporting the livelihoods of lakhs of dairy farmers. Vijaya Dairy ensures quality in its products and will meet the requirements of high-quality ghee and other dairy products for TTD.
Being a government entity, Vijaya Dairy maintains transparency in supply, quality, and pricing. Ghosh urged the TTD to give an opportunity to Vijaya Dairy to serve the devasthanam and devotees and expressed readiness to meet the requirements of the TTD.
