Voters Regret Reduced BJP Strength in Parliament, Says Etala
Hyderabad:After watching the first session of Parliament, hearing the language used by Opposition parties and analysing the developments later on, voters have started realising that the country would have been more secure if they had given Prime Minister Narendra Modi a stronger, said BJP Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar.
Speaking during a BJP membership drive at the Vinayaknagar division of the Malkajgiri constituency, Rajendar said that people were feeling that the nation had been weakened because of the reduced strength of the BJP in the Lok Sabha.
“The people have seen how the image of the country considerably globally after Modi took over as Prime Minister. The BJP, in its earlier form, had fought against the Emergency to protect democracy. The people have also seen how the Vajpayee and Modi governments have worked hard for the development and self respect of the country,” Rajendar said.
Asking party activists to enroll a larger number of members to strengthen the BJP government at the Centre, Rajendar set a target of 10 lakh for the constituency, which is the largest in India with over 31.5 lakh voters.
Referring to the demolition drive being carried out through the HYDRAA, Rajendar said that the actions of the Revanth Reddy government had created a fear psychosis among people and they were worried about purchasing land in Hyderabad.
“It is immature on the part of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to think that he will demolish all the structures by citing the full tank level or buffer zones of lakes. No CM has acted like Revanth Reddy. No one will dare to touch your properties. I will come to your rescue at any time,” Rajendar said.
