Warangal Man Dies in US; Family Seeks Govt Help for Return of Body
Warangal: Yerukonda Rajesh, a 32-year-old native of Atmakur mandal of Hanamkonda district, died of a cardiac in the United States three days ago. Some of his friends called up his family members and informed them about his death.
Rajesh had gone to the US in 2015.
Rajesh’s uncle Bikshapathi speaking to the Deccan Chronicle said Rajesh wanted to settle down in the US and did odd jobs after completing his MS. He said Rajesh’s parents Sambaiah and Neelima had sold their 20 guntas of land to fund his studies abroad.
Nine months back, Rajesh’s father Sambaiah died of an illness. Rajesh did not come back to conduct the final rites, it was stated.
Rajesh’s mother Neelima has been working as a farm labourer and was facing a lot of hardships after sending her only son abroad. Given their poor condition, the state government must help bring the dead body of Rajesh to his native place, Bikshapathi urged the government.
