Warangal: Heavy rains have washed away a section of the railway track near Thalapusapalli railway station in Kesamudram mandal of Mahabubabad district. This has led to the cancellation of train services between the Kazipet and Vijayawada line, with the Machilipatnam Express currently halted at Mahabubabad railway station.
The state has been experiencing continuous heavy rainfall since Monday, resulting in flooded roads and disruption to daily life. Lakes are overflowing, and the state government has placed officials on high alert to manage the situation.
