WhatsApp-Based RTC Ticket Booking Now Available for Long-Distance Travel in AP

Vijayawada: The state government has launched WhatsApp-based services for booking RTC bus tickets, allowing passengers who book their tickets via WhatsApp to board buses. All long-distance bus services are now equipped with the option to book tickets through WhatsApp. The government has instructed district officials and depot managers to ensure that field staff are aware of this new service.
To book a ticket through WhatsApp, passengers must first send a message saying "Hi" to the number 9552300009. After this, a list of available services will appear. The passenger then selects the option for RTC ticket booking or cancellation, and by providing details such as the departure point, destination, and date, the system will show available services along with seat details. Once the passenger selects a seat and completes the online payment, the ticket will be sent directly to their WhatsApp number.
This initiative aims to simplify the ticket booking process and offer greater convenience to travelers.
