Adilabad: Gangamani, 36, a widow of Bheltharoda of Thanur mandal on late Saturday night died by suicide as she was unable to cope with her problems in Mudhole Assembly constituency of Nirmal district. Villagers performed funeral of the woman in the village on Sunday.
Villagers collected voluntary donations to help her daughter Durga,11. In the absence her father who died 10 years ago, her mother was running the family by doing small works. The girl is studying at a government school.
Villagers collected nearly Rs 1 lakh to be used for the welfare of the girl.
On Twitter, BRS working president K. T. Ramarao responded to the incident and directed BRS leader of Mudhole to help the girl.
