Hyderabad: In view of the final immersion of Ganesh Idols, the wine/toddy shops and Bars will remain closed within the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad from 6.am on September 17 to 6.pm on September 18. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand issued an order on closing the liquor outlets.
Bars attached to Restaurants (excluding bars in Star Hotels and registered clubs) within the twin cities, will also not be permitted, said the order.
“All the SHOs and Addl. Inspectors of L&O Police Stations of Hyderabad City are hereby authorized to take appropriate legal action against those who violate this notification,” the order further said.
