Woman found murdered at isolated place in Sangareddy; Police suspect gang rape and murder
BJP MLA T Raja Singh demands stern action against culprits

Hyderabad: The naked body of a woman was found in an isolated place near Nandikanti village at Sadasivpet in Sangareddy district on Thursday.
The police said that unidentified persons first killed the woman aged between 40 and 45 years by smashing her head with a sharp-edged weapon in the secluded place and later fled the spot. The incident came to light when the villagers noticed the body and alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the Sadasivpet government hospital for an autopsy.
The police identified the woman with the help of workers at ‘labour adda’ near the village and took up investigation. “We are waiting for the medical report to confirm whether the woman was sexually assaulted,” a police official said.
Responding to the gruesome murder incident in Sangareddy district, Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh demanded that the police take stern action against the culprits responsible for it.
In a short video released on Friday, he said the women were not getting enough protection after the Congress came to power. If the Congress government fails to ensure protection and maintain law and order effectively then the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy must quit, he said, suspecting that the woman might be gang raped by unidentified persons before killing her.
