Won’t Allow Grab of Labour Building at Azam Jahi: Errabelli
Warangal: The BJP is not going to sit quiet and it will resist the state government if it allows land grabbers to seize the land of labour building at Azam Jahi Mills ground, warned BJP leader Errabelli Pradeep Rao in Warangal on Tuesday.
It is sad that the Azam Jahi labour building was encroached on by one of the businessmen in the city with the support of former MLC Konda Muralidhar Rao. The building has been used by workers for conducting meetings and gatherings for the past 75 years, he said.
How can Congress leader Muralidhar Rao lay a foundation stone for the construction of a shopping complex by dismantling the labour building which has been a symbol of labour solidarity for the workers in Warangal city, he questioned.
Konda Murali questioned the actions of those who grabbed the land of labour building during the previous government and now joining hands with the same persons participated in the ground-breaking ceremony.
The BJP along with the members of the various labour unions will intensify the movement until the state government hands the labour building back to the workers, he warned.
Former city mayor Dr Rajeshwar Rao, former MLA Kondeti Sridhar, BJP leaders Sammi Reddy, Rathnam, Satish, Parameshwar, Shankar, Venkat, Naresh, Ranjith and Mahesh were present at the meeting.
