Yadadri’s Rich Cultural Weaves to Shine at HITEX Expo in June
More than 100 stalls will showcase handlooms, garments, crafts and cuisine of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district during the exhibition from June 5 to 7

Hyderabad: This June, the rich cultural fabrics from the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana will be displayed during a three-day exhibition to be conducted at HITEX exhibition centre in Madhapur here.
More than 100 stalls will showcase handlooms, garments, crafts and cuisine of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district during the exhibition from June 5 to 7. It is being conducted to bridge the gap between urban conscious consumers and rural craftspersons, according to officials.
Featuring over 100 exclusive stalls, the event is a definitive marketplace for authentic handloom fabrics, sarees, and contemporary apparel directly from the weavers and makers from the region.
Beyond a retail exhibition, this event serves as a living cultural ecosystem. Visitors can purchase traditional fabrics and garments directly from the weavers, experience live demonstrations of the traditional looms, learn the intricate tie-and-dye and weaving process and savour local cuisine, curated by residents of the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
This exhibition is intentionally designed not as a standalone pop-up, but as the official starting point for sustainable tourism to the larger Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, where new experiential circuits will be presented to tourists and enthusiasts from Hyderabad to map out their next weekend road trip to Pochampally—located just two hours from the city.
