HYDERABAD: Former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was on Friday invited to attend the ‘Maha Kumbhabhishekam’ of the Vimana Gopuram of the Yadagirigutta temple on February 23. The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple’s chief priest Venkateswaracharyulu, accompanied by other priests of the Yadagirigutta temple called on Chandrashekar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravalli in Siddipet district, and extended the invitation.
They also requested him to attend the Brahmotsavams at the temple that will be held from March 1 to March 11 following the Maha Kumbhabhishekam. It may be recalled that the renovation and rebuilding of the Yadagirigutta temple was initiated by Rao while he was Chief Minister.
Those who met Rao included deputy executive officer Bhaskar, senior priests Narasimha Murthy, Kiran Kumaracharyulu, public relations officer Rajan Babu.
