NIZAMABAD: Election of Yellareddy municipal chairman will be held on October 3. Former municipal chairman Kudumula Satyanarayana was ousted from the post by moving no-confidence motion by the municipal councillors. BRS municipal councillor Satyanarayana was elected as Yellareddy municipal chairman during the BRS government.
After the Congress came to power, the municipal chairman resigned from the BRS and joined the Congress. Majority of municipal councillors in Yellareddy municipality raised objections against Kudumula Satyanarayana and removed him from the post. Satyanarayana approached the High Court for justice. Interestingly, BRS councillors too joined Congress and now they sought a new face for municipal chairman post.
