Govt urges youth to join Create in India Challenge

Hyderabad:Ministry of information and broadcasting, in partnership with Dancing Atoms Studios, held a storytelling workshop at Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) in Hyderabad, encouraging students to participate in the “Create in India Challenge” under the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES).
Speaking at the event, filmmaker and Dancing Atoms director Saraswathi Buyyala emphasised the importance of crafting compelling narratives to attract audiences and industry stakeholders. She urged students to hone their storytelling skills, as impactful presentations could help secure funding and partnerships.
The Create in India Challenge has already seen over 70,000 registrations from India and 35 countries, with 31 curated competitions spanning fields like animation, filmmaking, gaming and VFX. Twenty-two challenges are open for global participation, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Make in India, Make for the World” vision.
The initiative seeks to position India as a global creative hub. The first season of the challenge continues to attract amateur and professional creators, offering a platform for recognition and international collaboration.
