Vijayawada: Tollywood producers C Ashwini Dutt, Allu Aravind, AM Ratnam, S Radha Krishna (China Babu), DVV Danayya, NV Prasad, Supriya and Telugu film chamber president Dil Raju called on Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at his camp office in Vijayawada on Monday.
The producers arrived by a special flight from Hyderabad to Gannavaram in the afternoon and headed straight to Pawan Kalyan’s camp office.
The producers' delegation along with cinematography minister Kandula Durgesh discussed with the deputy CM a wide range of issues concerning the Telugu film industry.
It is reported that the producers discussed with PK some plans for developing the Telugu film industry in AP and various other issues including ticket pricing and permissions to film shootings under a single desk system.
Speaking to the media, Allu Aravind said they sought an appointment with chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to felicitate the chief minister and deputy chief minister on behalf of Tollywood.
The ace producer said that they have not discussed the film industry's problems in detail but would meet Pawan Kalyan again to discuss issues of the film industry and the scope for expanding the film industry in AP. Bunny Vasu, Naveen Yerneni, Naga Vamsi, TG Viswa Prasad, Vamsi Krishna and other producers were present.
