Tsunduru Police Arrest 7 Including 3 Juveniles for Beating up Teenager

Vijayawada: Seven persons have been arrested on a charge that they brutally beat up a 17-year-old boy at Manduru village of Tsunduru Mandal under Vemuru constituency.

The victim was Sk Aksar, a resident of Chinaparimi village. According to police, a gang of eight persons – three of them juveniles -- was in an inebriated condition at Manduru village on July 31.

“The eight are habitual offenders. They, along with the victim, were consuming alcohol and a verbal fight started between them. The eight beat up Sk Aksar indiscriminately with sticks and injured him grievously,” the police said.

A case has been registered against the eight accused under provisions of the BNS Act. One of the accused was absconding. Meanwhile, a video clip of the gang beating the victim went viral on social media.
