Two-day traffic diversions for Telangana State Formation Day celebrations
Hyderabad: The police have imposed the restrictions for the Formation Day celebrations at Gun Park, Nampally, from 9 am to 10 am and at Parade Ground, Secunderabad, from 6 am to 1 pm. Traffic would also be halted on Tank Bund for the official celebrations.
The police advised motorists to avoid roads from Panjagutta, Greenlands, Begumpet to Secunderabad Parade Ground, Rasoolpura, Begumpet, and Paradise and surrounding roads. Traffic congestion was expected at the crossroads at Chilkalguda, Alugaddabavi, Sangeet, YMCA, Patny, SBH, Plaza, CTO, the junctions at Brook Bond, Tivoli, Sweekar Upkar, Secunderabad Club, as well as at Trimulgherry, Tadbund, Centre Point, Diamond Point.
From midnight on June 1 to midnight on June 2, citizens should avoid Kattamaisamma, Old Ambedkar Statue, Telugu Thalli Junction, Liberty, Iqbal Minar, Indira Gandhi Rotary, VV Statue, Karbala, Old PS Saifabad and Ravindra Bharathi roads.
