Tirupati: Two young men, Balasai, 26, and Balanageswara Rao, 27, are feared drowned after being swept away by strong waves while swimming at Ramapuram Beach in Bapatla district.
The incident occurred Sunday during a day trip with friends from Mangalagiri. Their companions tried to rescue them but were hampered by rough seas.
Local authorities are searching for the missing men. The families of Balasai and Balanageswara Rao are understandably distraught.
