During the presentation ceremony, announcing his retirement, Virat Kohli said, "This was my last T20 World Cup, and this is what I wanted to achieve. I told Rohit, before walking into bat, one day you feel like you can't run and then you go out and things happen, this is my last T20 game and I wanted to make the most of it."

Rohit Sharma also announced his retirement from T20Is during the post match interview and said, "This is my last T20I game as well. I have enjoyed it since the time I started playing this format and no better time to say goodbye to this format."

Both Rohit and Virat share a deep bond and mutual respect for each other prompting a wide fan-base for the pair. Fans named the pair "Rohi-Rat" and "Ro-Ko". As they bid farewell to International T20s, let's revisit some of their best moments:
