Yuzvendra Chahal's Bengaluru T20 feat one of the toughest: Ajantha Mendis
Mumbai: Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis believes that grabbing six wickets is the most difficult task for any bowler in a T20 match as compared to the other two formats (Tests and ODIs) of the game.

On Wednesday, India's Yuzvendra Chahal became only the second bowler in the world to achieve this feat against England at Bengaluru. In fact, Mendis has the distinction of achieving this twice (versus Zimbabwe in 2012 and against Australia in 2011).
"It is not easy to take 6 wickets especially in T20. Literally you have to take a wicket in every 4 balls," said Mendis.
"Accuracy and variation are the keys. If you bowl loose no batsman will show mercy to you when he is reading your balls correctly, as a bowler you have to set in your game from ball one. You get to bowl only 24 balls and there is no room for any mistakes".
"I could not watch Chahal's entire spell on Wednesday. But yes, I did watch the highlights. I saw him bowling. He is a good bowler,” added Mendis.
While most of the Team India players have left for home after the Bengaluru match, it is learnt that Chahal has been asked by India coach Anil Kumble to stay back at the National Cricket Academy.
