Indian cricketers seen in all new jerseys
HYDERABAD: Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandhana and few others were seen donning the new jerseys designed and manufactured by the global sportswear brand adidas.
In a video posted on the official Instagram handles of adidas India and Indian Cricket Team, the cricketers can be seen wearing three jerseys, designed specifically for each format -- ODIs, T20Is and Tests.
The jerseys were revealed at the Wankhade stadium in Mumbai. Indian team will be wearing this jersey in ICC Cricket World Cup ’23 scheduled to be held in India in October-November.
Team India will also be wearing the white Jersey in the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, which will begin on June 7.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) & adidas has announced a brand-new partnership as the kit sponsor for the BCCI. The contract, which runs through to March 2028, will give adidas exclusive rights for manufacturing kit across all formats of the game. adidas will be the sole supplier for all match, training & travel wear for the BCCI - including the men's, women's & youth teams.
