Ranchi Diaries: MS Dhoni and Ziva bond with Bollywood's Anupam Kher, Soundarya Sharma
Ranchi: MS Dhoni is one of the most popular examples of the rags to riches stories in cricket. The struggle behind his rise to the highest echelons of the sport was displayed in his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, where Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput enacted him.
One of the many people behind the former Team India skipper’s success is his own father – Pan Singh Dhoni, who played an influential part in helping his son chase his dream. The role of Dhoni’s father was played by Anupam Kher in the movie.
On Wednesday, Dhoni hosted Kher at his own house in Ranchi, where the India cricketer is seen hosting both his reel and real-life father.

Kher posted a series of tweets about Dhoni’s new house and also praised his daughter Ziva.

Actress Soundarya Sharma also caught up with Dhoni.
The recently concluded ODI series against Australia has been a memorable one for Dhoni. Mahi joined the ‘300 ODI’ club and also became the first wicket-keeper to reach 100 ODI stumpings. Apart from that, his valuable inputs to skipper Virat Kohli in crunch situations the team blossom.
The Virat Kohli-led Team India now shift their focus to the 3-match T20I’s against Steve Smith’s Australia, with the first T20 on Saturday.
