Team India captain Virat Kohli’s newest cricket fan Charulata Patel has signed an endorsement with PepsiCo.
The 87-year-old’s popular recorded video, which shows her blowing the trumpet will be shown in the entire match whenever Indian batsman hits a boundary of four or a six.
This was revealed by Saurin Basu, manager for the England-based lady.
Speaking exclusively over phone from Ahmedabad, he said, “the arrangement is made only for the ongoing World Cup and the same will be in effect from Tuesday’s semifinal against New Zealand and also in the final, if India reaches that stage”.
The manager, however, did not disclose the contract amount.
Charulata Patel has also given an interview to Sandeep Patil and Kapil Dev. Her interview with Kapil Dev will be shown on TV on Wednesday.
