Kerala: Roads likely clear for ODI in capital
President Jayesh George told Deccan Chronicle that they were attempting to make the first test a reality.
Thiruvananthapuram: An international One Day International (ODI) match that has been pending for Kerala for two years and now, will in all likelihood be played in the capital in 2018, sources said. Usually, every 23rd ODI match is supposed to be allotted to Kerala. The one pending could not be hosted in Kochi due to various reasons including tight schedule involving other sports. With a positive response for The Sports Hub from all quarters, the ODI match might become a reality by next March. President Jayesh George told Deccan Chronicle that they were attempting to make the first test a reality. Kerala, in its history has never hosted a test match.
