'Bitiya Rani' singer Suresh Raina exchanges pleasantries with Rashid Khan on Twitter

Mumbai: Suresh Raina may currently be out of the cricketing spotlight, but the discarded Indian batsman has been working hard to make a comeback into Virat Kohli’s team. The past few months have gone well for the southpaw as he cleared BCCI’s mandatory Yo-Yo fitness test and was also retained by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

However, the dashing left-hander also possesses an impressive talent of singing and made it public by recording a song named Bitiya Rani – dedicated to his daughter Gracia Raina as a part of as a promotion for his wife Priyanka's radio show.

After the track garnered applauses from members of the cricket fraternity that included the likes of Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Gautam Gambhir and many others, Afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan was also quick to applaud Raina’s talent.

"Just Listened a Song BITIYA RANI sang by @ImRaina really Love it,” the young leggie posted on Twitter.

Raina was quick to appreciate the wishes sent by the Afghani youngster and returned back the favour to his IPL counterpart.

Raina previously expressed his desire to don the canary yellow jersey once again in front of the Chepauk faithful.

“Vanakkam Chennai! Good to be back to CSK after two years. And, looking forward to playing in front of my beautiful crowd and knowledgeable crowd, what I’ve missed the last two years. See you out there, in Chepauk Stadium," said Raina on his CSK comeback.
