Here's how Indian fans apologised after Australia team bus was attacked in Guwahati
Guwahati: While a few miscreants attacked the Australian cricket team bus post their eight-wicket win against Virat Kohli-led Indian side in the second Twenty20 here on Tuesday, some of the other cricket fans from the city apologised to the touring side.
A rock was hurled at the Australian cricket team bus, shattering a window, as the team returned from the ACA-Barsapura Cricket Stadium to the team hotel.
While none of the Australian cricketers were injured, the second such security lapse in space of a month was a scary sight for the visiting team. The Australian team bus was targeted in Bangladesh last month.
Aaron Finch posted a picture of broken window while leg-spinner Adam Zampa relived the “pretty scary” incident as he expressed his “disappointment”.

"Sports Minister, Chief Secretary and DGP were directed to meet the Australian players and convey state government concern and the immediate measures taken after the incident," said Sonowal.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sonowal had taken to Twitter to condemn the attack.
So, whoever got indulged in the hooliganism did it on the sole objective of defaming Assam & derailing its journey towards the top. (7/8)
