The report also states that New Zealand will take on England in the opening match on October 5 while India's first world cup match will be against Australian on Oct 8, 2023.
It is learnt that this is a tentative schedule that t he BCCI has shared with the ICC. The final dates would be announced as soon ICC hears back from all the countries participating in the World Cup tournament.
