Reham Khan takes another pot-shot as Imran Khan sets to become Pakistan PM

London: While Imran Khan is set to become Pakistan Prime Minister, his ex-wife Reham Khan is not missing out on any chance to hit out at the former cricketer-turned-politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief.

Reham married Imran in 2015 but their marriage fell apart after 10 months and Reham later accused Khan of being bisexual, taking hard drugs and adultery in her recent book.

Imran had earlier said that marrying Reham was his biggest mistake.

“Normally I don't say anything about Reham, but I will say this: I've made some mistakes in my life, but my second marriage has to be the biggest,” Imran told Daily Mail.

Reham did not take Imran’s comment lying down and hit back at him, saying, “Marrying him was her biggest mistake.”

In her recent interview, Reham said that when the two met for the first time Imran came across as an arrogant man. She also stated that he proposed marriage out of the blue.

“He came across as a very arrogant man, when I met him for the first time with my television crew,” said Reham Khan, the former BBC journalist, during an interview with Cineink.

“There was no courtship in our relationship. He just proposed out of the blue,” Reham said before adding that the days post marriage were all pleasant.

Earlier, in one of her interviews, Reham said that Imran has no connection to real life.

“He’s the only celebrity we have in Pakistan and expects everyone to do everything,” she was quoted as saying by The Times. “I told him, ‘You’re like Rapunzel in the tower – you have no connection to real life. ’”

“He’s so narcissistic and single-minded about his goal (to become Pakistan PM) that he forgets the appropriate emotional response to things,” added Reham.

In her book, Reham had said that her ex-husband thinks he is God.

“I married him because I believed in him and his mission, but it’s all fake,” Reham said of Imran in her book.
