After Virat-Anushka, Rohit Sharma-Ritika Sajdeh's love wins the internet
Mohali: Since the last two days, the Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma marriage had taken the world by storm. With that done, it was time to shift focus back on the cricket field, with Rohit Sharma scoring a double ton in the second ODI against Sri Lanka here.
Rohit Sharma had a day to remember on Wednesday, when he slammed his third ODI double century during the second match against Sri Lanka here, helping his team reach a total of 392-4 from 50 overs.
It was in fact an auspicious day for Rohit, as he gifted his wife Ritika Sajdeh with the double ton on the day of the couple’s second wedding anniversary. The knock of 208 was also his second against Sri Lanka, the previous being a knock of 264 during the Kolkata ODI in 2014.

Rohit Sharma’s first ODI double ton came in a match against Australia in 2013 at Bengaluru, and this was his first as captain of the Indian team.
The 30-year-old was chosen to captain the side after Virat Kohli opted to skip the limited-overs series. Kohli will be back with the Indian team ahead of the South African tour in January. India will play three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is in South Africa.
