Mohammed Shami: Hasin Jahan lied about 1st marriage, said daughters were of sister's
Kolkata: A week has gone by but the Mohammed Shami-Hasin Jahan has continued to grab the headlines. Jahan, wife of the Indian pacer, made some sensational allegations against Shami, claiming that he had extra-marital affairs. Jahan shared the photos of Shami’s alleged WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger chats with the women, whom she claims Shami has relations with.

Jahan also alleged that Shami wanted her to have physical relations with his brother, before claiming that Shami’s mother and brother tortured her and tried to kill her. While Shami has vehemently denied all the allegations, saying that Jahan is brainwashed and acting under someone’s influence, BCCI has put his contract on hold.

Jahan, meanwhile, filed a written complaint and a FIR was lodged against Shami and his four family members in Kolkata's Jadavpur police station under several Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including section 498A, which amounts to cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives. The other charges recorded against Shami are under Section 307 - attempt to murder, Section 323 - punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 - rape, Section 506 - criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.

For Jahan, this was her second marriage after she divorced SK Saifuddin, with whom she has two daughters – one is in 10th standard while the other is in 6th standard.
Shami, meanwhile, has now made a sensational claim that he was not aware of Jahan’s first marriage when the two got married. He also said Jahan told him and his family that the daughters were of her late sister.

“I was not aware of her first marriage when we got married. But slowly, she started telling me. She said that the girls (Hasin’s daughters from her first marriage) are daughters of my late sister. Till now, my family thought that they are her cousin’s kids,” said Shami in an interview to NewsX.
