Bengaluru: Young batting sensation Prithvi Shaw has already created an early impact in his senior international career, having scored a century and a half century in India’s recently-concluded Tests against West Indies.

Shaw was recently seen in action for Mumbai in their Vijay Hazare Trophy semifinal against Hyderabad here on Wednesday, where he scored a match-winning knock of 61 runs.

However, the match was nothing short of any drama.

In the 19th over, when Hyderabad’s Mohammed Siraj was bowling, Prithvi Shaw was tested by the bowler as he bowled variety of deliveries in the first half of the over, including a bouncer.

However, words were exchanged during this time. Nevertheless, the 18-year-old Shaw responded well in the second half of the over by smashing two sixes and a four.
