India-Australia T20 set to dazzle Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) secretary S.R. Gopinath Reddy announced that measures have been taken to ensure that India-Australia T20 International match, scheduled on November 23, is organised without any hitches.
He was speaking at the final meeting of the organising committee at the Dr. Y.S.R. ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag on Tuesday. The meeting was attended, among others, by district collector A. Mallikarjuna, city police commissioner Ravi Shankar Ayyanar GVMC commissioner C.M. Sai Kant Varma, BCCI chairman Prudhvi Tej, ACA treasurer E.V. Chalam and CEO M.V. Shiva Reddy.
Gopinath Reddy assured cricket enthusiasts of making good arrangements for them on the day of the match.
Authorities are making arrangements for live screening of the match on a large screen near RK Beach, which about 10,000 fans can watch.
CEO Shiva Reddy said tickets will be priced at affordable rates.
