Ex-Team India captain MS Dhoni visits Deori Temple in Jharkhand for Diwali, see pics
Jharkhand: Former Team India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Thursday cewlebrated Diwali by worshipping the Deori Temple here in Bhundu.
The Jharkhand cricketer is a regular worshipper of this temple, and has been visiting the temple since his youth.

After recently winning the ODI series 4-1 against Australia, India finished level with the same opponents 1-1 in the T20 series, with the third game being washed out.
Taking a break from cricket, the former Indian skipper took part in a Celebrity Clasico match, where he, along with Team India captain Virat Kohli among other cricketers represented All Hearts FC in an exhibition match against All stars, which was rewpresented by Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan among few others.
The cricketers went on to win the football match, with the scoreline ending 6-3, thanks to two outstanding goals from ‘Thala’ Dhoni.
MS Dhoni will once again take the cricket field, when Virat Kohli-led Team India faces Kane Williamson’s New Zealand in a three-match ODI series, with the first match at the Wankede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
The three matches will be followed by as many T20 internationals against the same opponents, as the Men in Blue look to continue their successful run.
