Watch: Virat Kohli left stunned as Trent Boult takes an absolute screamer
Bengaluru: While AB de Villiers was a magician on the cricket field as Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Delhi Daredevils on Saturday at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, Trent Boult was a showstopper; so much so that even Virat Kohli was left utterly stunned.
Boult took an absolute screamer, one-handed stunner, near the boundary rope to send Kohli packing off Harshal Patel’s bowling.
While Harshal bowled a fulltoss and Kohli just timed, thinking the ball will sail past the boundary rope, Boult leapt in the air and latched on to the ball, close the boundary rope.
If the effort was not pure gold, he managed to hold his balance even as he fell on the ground to complete the catch before his teammates rushed towards him to congratulate on an outstanding effort.
While DD lost the match, the Twitter was in awe of Boult's stunner.
