Watch: Rohit Sharma signals Ravi Shastri for MS Dhoni no 3 promotion, Twitter erupts
Indore: Stand-in India captain Rohit Sharma once again led from the front as his innings of 118 runs from 43 balls helped his team reach a massive total of 260-5 from 20 overs in the second T20 here against Sri Lanka on Friday.
Earlier this month, it was in the second ODI when Rohit scored a record-breaking third double hundred in the 50-over format, and it was the 30-year-old once again, who did the damage.
It was a record-equalling ton by Rohit, as he reached his hundred in just 35 balls, the same number of balls as South African David Miller earlier this year.
It was in the 13th over when Sri Lanka broke the 165-run partnership between Rohit and KL Rahul, as the former departed after a well-played innings.
