KSCA launch rehab centre
Bengaluru: In their attempt to keep the state cricketers fit throughout the season, the Karnataka State Cricket Association in partnership with Ramaiah Memorial Hospital launched the state-of-the-art KSCA-Ramaiah Sports Rehabilitation Centre at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Tuesday.
With four KSCA employed physios and two from the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, the centre will not only cater to cricketers but also other sportspersons and KSCA clubhouse members.
“This initiative has been in the pipeline for years and now we are associated with Ramaiah Group in this venture. It is required in a stadium of this size. As there are too many back-to-back matches and players are prone to injuries, this centre will benefit the state cricketers and also sportspersons,” said Brijesh Patel, the secretary of the KSCA.
