Video: Suresh Raina's incredible fielding effort on boundary
Kanpur: Indian cricketer Suresh Raina made a comeback to the Indian side after nine long months. The batsman last played for India in the 2016 World T20 and had missed international cricket action due to poor form and injuries.
The Uttar Pradesh cricketer smashed a quickfire 34 off 23 deliveries on his home turf to help India post a respectable total of 147 in the first T20I in Kanpur, which the hosts lost by seven wickets.
Raina, who is also considered as one of the best fielders going around produced another spectacular effort in the field for India as he almost pulled off an incredible catch.
England captain Eoin Morgan hit Yuzvendra Chahal towards long on, which looked like a six, only for Raina to time his jump perfectly to pluck the ball out of thin air. The fielder, however, lost his balance while coming down and had to throw the ball back into the play as he was about to fall on the boundary rope.
