Watch: When MS Dhoni signalled about absence of DRS to Yuzvendra Chahal

India defeated Ireland by 76 runs in the first T20I on Wednesday.

Dublin: Virat Kohli-led India kicked off their England tour preparations with a dominant 76-run win over Ireland here on Wednesday in the first of the two Twenty20 internationals (T20Is).

While Rohit Sharma(97 runs) and Shikhar Dhawan (74) were the stars with the bat, the wrist-spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged seven wickets between them.

Chahal, however, had a brainfade moment when he asked MS Dhoni about the Decision Review System (DRS) as the former skipper reminded him of its non-availability.

The 27-year-old was bowling to James Shannon in the last ball of the seventh over of the Irish innings when Shannon was batting at 37 runs.

As a result, Shannon went onto make 60 runs, which, however, went in vain.

The second and final T20I will be played on Friday.
