77 Runs In 11-Overs Highlights The Kind Of Impact Yashasvi Can Have : Piyush Chawla

Yashasvi Jaiswal enjoys batting against a particular opposition, and his confidence shows : Piyush Chawla

Rajasthan Royals registered their third consecutive win of TATA IPL 2026 with a 27-run victory over Mumbai Indians. Speaking on Star Sports’ ‘Amul Cricket Live’, JioStar experts Piyush Chawla and Aditya Tare discussed Rajasthan Royals’ three-match winning streak, disciplined bowling performance, and the key contributions of ‘Heavyweight’ Yashasvi Jaiswal and ‘Fearless Prodigy’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Speaking on Star Sports’ ‘Amul Cricket Live’, JioStar expert Piyush Chawla shared his thoughts on Rajasthan Royals’ performance:

“Rajasthan Royals looked ready from the start, especially with the way they approached the Powerplay. Their batting set the tone early on. With the ball, Jofra Archer was right on the money, and Nandre Burger followed up with crucial wickets. When you’re chasing 150 in 11 overs and lose three wickets for around 20 runs, the chase becomes extremely difficult. Mumbai Indians were already behind the game within the first few overs.”

On Yashasvi Jaiswal’s knock:

“Sometimes a player simply enjoys batting against a particular opposition, and that confidence shows. Yashasvi Jaiswal looked assured from the moment he came in and set the tone from the very first over. The way he took charge of the innings was impressive. Scoring 77 runs in an 11-over game highlights the kind of impact he can have.”

On Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s innings:

“Performing against Mumbai Indians is always special because of the quality of their bowling attack, with world-class bowlers like Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah. When a batter takes on bowlers of that calibre and delivers an innings like Vaibhav Suryavanshi did, it naturally stands out and gets people talking.”

Speaking on Star Sports’ ‘Amul Cricket Live’, JioStar expert Aditya Tare reflected on Rajasthan Royals’ outing in Guwahati:

“Rajasthan Royals looked switched on from the very first ball. They started strongly with both, bat and ball, and their decision-making was spot on. The Captain introduced his best bowler early, got a wicket in the first over, and that set the tone. Their fielding was equally impressive. Sandeep Sharma’s catch was outstanding. Even before the match began, RR were the first team out on the field, warming up and energising themselves. That preparation made a clear difference.”
