Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Narendra Modi Stadium today. Both the teams will play for the direct spot in the final.
SRH and KKR have shown some great performances in this IPL season, with the ball as well as with the bat. The opening batters of both the teams have fired well and helped their teams to put up good totals in this season.
KKR openers Phil Salt and Sunil Narine have given the team explosive starts in this season. The team will miss Phil Salt's services as he is back on his international duties and Gurbaz will likely open with Narine. It will be a test for Gurbaz, if he is in the playing XI, as he hadn't played a single match this season.

Travis Head: SRH opener has played some explosive knocks which helped the team to win the game. Currently, he is the third highest run scorer in this season. Abhishek Sharma: SRH's another opener Abhishek Sharma has put up great performances with his partner Travis Head this season. The duo has the record for fastest 100-run partnership of 30 balls in the history of IPL. Abhishek has scored 467 runs in 13 matches with an impressive strike rate of 209. Both these batters need to be watched out, they broke some records this season and if they are not stopped earlier, then we can expect some explosive batting today.
Henrich Klaasen: The wicket-keeper batter has shown some hard hitting performances this season. He is one of the best finishers in the T20 format and he is capable of taking the game away from the opponent. With the strike rate of 183, he has scored 381 runs this season.
Sunil Narine: The West Indies player has shown some all-round performance, he has impressed with both, bat and ball. He has played some explosive knocks this season with one century under his belt. Sunil Narine has scored 461 runs with a strike rate of 182 and also picked up 15 wickets this season.
Shreyas Iyer: Skipper Shreyas Iyer is the third highest run getter for KKR. He is capable of playing some good knocks and he will be one of the players to watch out for. Iyer has scored 287 runs in 13 matches.
Andre Russel: The powerful all-rounder can take the match away from you with both the bat and ball. He has scored 261 runs and also picked up 15 wickets this season.
Nitish Kumar Reddy: The local lad has been impressive and he has delivered for SRH at the right time. This young talented batter needs to be watched out for in today's match. Nitish scored 276 runs in 10 matches.
T Natarajan: With 17 wickets in 11 matches this season, Natarajan is one of the bowlers that needs to be watched out today.
