This season, he sits sixth in the Orange Cap race with 328 runs in seven matches at an average of 54.66 and a strike rate of 162.18, including three fifties and a top score of 81.
Kohli has been especially dominant in run chases. Since 2023, he has scored 1,087 runs in 21 chase innings at an average of 72.46, falling for single digits only once. Fourteen of those innings ended in successful chases, where he accumulated 881 runs at a remarkable average of 110.12. Bengaluru’s win percentage rises sharply when Kohli scores a fifty, highlighting his impact.
