UCL 2018-19: Liverpool fans brutally troll Barcelona on twitter
It was a historic night at Anfield, as the world saw Barcelona collapse against the Reds. Barcelona threw away 3-0 first-leg lead and conceded four goals in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi were the architects behind shaping up the Liverpool’s comeback. Liverpool have been in sublime form this season, and it reflected through their performance against Barcelona.
Liverpool’s former players—Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho made their return to the Kop, but their experience was rather unpleasant.
During the match, FC Barcelona posted a tweet which received a lot of backlash from the Liverpool fans on Twitter. When the Reds scored their first goal of the night, Barca posted a picture of Luis Suarez with the following caption:
“We score, Liverpool need FIVE – and we’re going to get at least one… agreed?”
