Mumbai: Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the finest footballers for generations to come. The Portuguese and Real Madrid legend is worshiped by millions of fans.

It's not every day you get to see Bollywood stars meeting some the best footballers on the planet. Arjun Kapoor had the opportunity to live footballers dream, when he met Cristiano Ronaldo, in Madrid, Spain, on Monday.

The actor was in Spain for promotional activity organized by Spanish football league.

According to reports in Hindustan Times, a source close to the organizers reveals, “Yes, it’s true that Arjun met Cristiano (he plays for the Spanish football club, Real Madrid). The actor is keenly interested in the sport, and he spoke to Ronaldo about Real Madrid’s season so far and also wished him all the luck for the Champions League final match against Liverpool in Kiev, Ukraine. They also had an in-depth conversation about world football in general and also about Real’s chances of winning in the finals.”

Apparently, Arjun and Cristiano also spoke about the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which starts on June 14 in Russia. The source adds, “Arjun has followed Cristiano’s career and exploits very closely, so he was very excited to meet him and discuss the nitty-gritties of world football, especially since the actor loves the game and is knowledgeable about it too.”

During their conversation, the Mubarakan (2017) actor also invited the footballer to India. “Arjun explained to Cristiano that he has an incredible fan following in India. The actor urged Cristiano to visit India and see for himself the immense love that India has for him. Cristiano, on his part, told Arjun that he would love to come down to India, as he is aware how much the fans here love him,” says the source.
