Hyderabad: Rain gods may show mercy on the disappointed Sunrisers fans, who could not see their team playing against Gujarat Titans as rain washed out the match. SRH are set to take on Punjab Kings at Uppal Stadium on Sunday.
With IMD-Hyderabad predicting only light rain in isolated areas of Hyderabad and Telangana on Sunday, the IPL match between the SRH and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Uppal Stadium is likely to be played without interruptions. Fans also pin their hopes on a full game since it is the last IPL match in the city.
Popular social media personality, "Telangana Weatherman '' also said in a tweet that rain is less likely and if at all there are any interruptions they will be minor as seen in Bengaluru in yesterday's match.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad side is keen on winning their last league stage match against the PBKS as they eye for the second position. On the other hand, the Punjab Kings are confident as they look to finish their IPL campaign on a winning high.
SRH is still in the race for the second spot in the table. The team can climb up if they win this game and the Rajasthan Royals lose against Kolkata.
Currently in the points table, Sunrisers are placed third with 15 points, while PBKS are at 9 spot with 12 points.
