Hyderabad: Muzahid Khan of Army Yachting Node was the top performer on the third day of the Hyderabad Sailing Week as he swept all four races in the Laser Standard Class at the Hussainsagar lake on Thursday.
Muzahid won Races 5 to 8 with ease. Vir Menon and Deelip Kumar came in second in the first two races while Mohit Saini was the runner-up in the other two.
Harpreet Singh and KK Pandey of AYN got two third-place finishes each.
In Laser Radial, two races were completed while the course was shortened for Finn class as the wind dropped.
K. Arjun Reddy won three out of four races (5, 7 and 8) in the RS:X class. Novice sailor Kamlapati Ojha of EME SA a made a mark by winning the sixth race. Ram Milan Yadav of NSS and Chitresh T. of TNSA shared the medal tally in Laser 4.7 category by scoring two wins each.
Kamlesh Patel and Rawankar UB of AYN stole the show in Hobie-16 as they won the 6th, 8th and 9th races. Pawan Kumar & Nitin MK took the seventh race.
The teams of Ashish Patel & Nagen Behra and Satish & Rahul battled it out in the Enterprise class before the latter won. In 470 Class Ayaz Shaikh & Shubham Patel continued their winning spree.
