Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and the sports fraternity send Raksha Bhandan wishes
Mumbai: The sports fraternity celebrated the joyous festival of Raksha Bandhan on Saturday, sending greetings to their siblings. The Hindu festival that has prevailed since the ancient times aims to celebrate the love and duty between brothers and sisters. Sisters tie a Rakhi around their brother’s arm wishing for their well being, and in return, the brother takes a pledge to protect his sister at all times.
Team India members such as Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane who are currently on a tour in Sri Lanka conveyed their wishes on Twitter, while few other Indian cricket personalities celebrated the occasion at home.
