Scotland's McGill wins Indian Open in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: In a battle of two of snooker’s most impressive young emerging stars, Scotsman Anthony McGill defeated Kyren Wilson to win the Indian Open snooker championship at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre here on Saturday, McGill took control of the contest against his compatriot after the scores were tied at 2-2, reeling off the last three frames for a commanding victory. Earlier in the day, McGill had defeated Shaun Murphy 4-2 in the semifinals while Wilson beat Nigel Bond 4-1.
